Very good equipment, very clean, very nice and attentive staff. There are two very good cafes nearby. The Thai restaurant next door is highly recommended.

Engineer involved in CC recovery and I need good internet service which it had. Previous 8-10 visits to CC this year were into motels in Ricarton area and all had very poor internet service.

No bad points from my perspective It is fine for business or just overnight stay in CC .

The room we stayed in at Alcala Motor Lodge was exceptionally clean with fast and reliable internet. The bed was comfortable, and the flat-screen TV was a nice touch. We also appreciated the free parking and convenient location, within walking distance of Cathedral Square. I highly recommend this motel.

Not enough lighting, bed too soft.

From the moment we arrived until the end of our stay, it was a pleasure. Friendly owner, considerate service, and warmth from the heater. Spacious unit, top-notch operation. Warm greetings, great amenities, and helpful staff. Convenient location, quiet despite being on a main road. Upgraded unit, modern bathroom, comfortable beds. Good wifi and heating. Complimentary newspaper provided.

I had reserved a apartment for 2 rooms. However on arrival given a single room apartment. The owner had given unacceptable excuse of room reservation. We had a company of 4 adults and an infant. We had brought the issue to the manager however her respond was "sorry our place is fully book, if you insist on the 2 room apartment you are welcome to look for other place". Our stay had been uncomfortable. I would not recommend the place to any large company.

Our second stay at Alcala, we liked it so much we stayed again on return trip. Excellent beds, roomy units, clean, quiet, even though so close to roads and city, easy access, off street parking, very clean and good quality laundry, very comfortable and enjoyable.

The hotel offered fast and reliable internet, which was crucial for my work trip. the location was very convenient and within easy reach of both public transport and complimentary on-site parking. One of the best aspects was the friendliness of the staff, who went out of their way to make sure my stay was comfortable.

The heating in my room was not working properly and it took a while to get it sorted out. while the room was clean and well-maintained, some aspects, such as the bathroom fixtures, were starting to show their age.

The value for our mid-week stay was absolutely mind-blowing! The recently painted rooms with good carpet added to the overall charm of the nice complex. The bath was an excellent size and even though it was slightly dated, it was clean. The owners were incredibly lovely, quick to address any issues like a blown lightbulb, and their charm was truly refreshing. The staff was super nice and friendly, going above and beyond by providing a bottle of milk for each of our three separate rooms and even helping us with our luggage to our second-floor rooms. Speaking of the rooms, they were clean, well-equipped with all the amenities we needed, and warm during the winter nights. The spaciousness of the 2-bedroom apartment was jaw-dropping, easily accommodating all five of us. The bathroom had a powerful shower and was, of course, super clean. The kitchen was fully equipped, making our stay even more convenient. Plus, the Wi-Fi was great! our stay at this motor lodge was truly a fantastic experience!
